This gift guide is for the women in your life who love to get outside and hike. Although we may not be able to explore new places right now, here’s some inspiration to help prepare her for her next adventure!

1. Hiking Poles

Even though I’m only in my 20’s, my knees always take a beating when I go on a hike. Hiking poles can help absorb some of the impact, especially on your way down. I Just got these as a birthday gift and can’t wait to break them in.

2. Packable Jacket

These are super lightweight and great to pack as an extra layer. The temperature can change dramatically from base to summit of a mountain, and it’s no fun to be cold after you’ve worked so hard to get to the top.

3. Cozy Pullover

I saw these all over this fall, and this cozy quarter-zip is definitely on my list. Perfect for a chilly night or brisk morning.

4. Water Bottle

This has been a tried and true favorite of mine for over a decade. Nalgene water bottles are lightweight, hold a ton of water and are practically indestructible.

5. Splashguard

A great add on to the water bottle. This splashguard is a lifesaver when you’re trying to take a sip on the go.

6. Hiking Boots

About 6 months ago I discovered the brand Scarpa. They’re an Italian shoe company that specializes in all things outdoor. I purchased the Kailash Trek GTX and they’re the most comfortable hiking boots I’ve ever worn.

7. Hiking Socks

A great fit for the beginner or seasoned hiker. These make a huge difference and you can never have enough.

8. Gaiters

These are amazing for muddy hikes.

9. Headlight

A staple accessory for any hiker .

10. Carabiner

I always carry one of these hooked on my backpack. They’re great for hanging any extra items you may have and can be an in the moment lifesaver.

11. Backpack

I’ve been looking for a new compact day pack and definitely have my eyes on this one.

12. Water Filter

A great investment for a hiker who is looking to tackle more challenging hikes. This filter allows you to lighten your pack by carrying less water and filling as you go.

Stay Safe & Happy Holidays!
